Promoting Resilience In Stress Management (PRISM) is an 8-session didactic small-group Mindfulness-Based Intervention focused on three core tenets of mindfulness:
- Observing non-judgmentally
- Attending to positivity
- Self-soothing
PRISM has been facilitated and found to be successful in the following populations:
- Adolescents in substance-use recovery reported significant reductions in depression symptoms
- High-risk adults indicated feasibility of PRISM through high retention rates
